With over 30 years business management experience, Gemma joins the non-executive board with a broad understanding of design firms, having first been appointed a director for an architectural firm in 2002. Both an accomplished designer and behavioural analyst extraordinaire, Gemma’s knowledge and experience drives a culture of innovation and inquiry that focuses on sustainable outcomes. Gemma’s capacity for applying behavioural strategies in the design and activation of sustainable community spaces enhances studio3eight’s built environments, place making and thought leadership capabilities in our rapidly changing world.
On a mission to engage with all stakeholders in the value chain to achieve favourable results across the breadth of the quadruple bottom line, and to gain meaningful support for relevant SDG’s (Sustainable Development Goals), Gemma’s mandate at studio3eight is unique. As a sustainability advocate and behavioural scientist, Gemma will advise industry actors at policy level to develop forward thinking paradigm shifts in the design and development of our urban environments at every scale.
