Taking inspiration from the region’s most famous export, the bird’s nest soup, as well as elements from Cham architecture and the traditional Vietnamese citadel, this building also mimics the form of the oft-found courtyard administrative buildings of Viet Nam. It is both striking and practical, makes maximum use of internally shaded courtyards and cross ventilation, and introduces true biophilic elements into the build. Buildings are subtly stepped to echo hierarchy whilst also being welcoming and inclusive.
